The challenge
As a business operating in the transport and employee benefits sector, Simplygreen’s emissions profile is heavily influenced by Scope 3 activities. Like many growing service-based businesses, emissions can fluctuate with increased operational activity, supplier engagement and changing travel patterns.
To maintain its carbon neutral certification and strengthen its climate leadership, Simplygreen required a robust and repeatable approach to measuring emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3 categories, identifying meaningful reduction opportunities, and ensuring alignment with the Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard.
